The best way to view the church is as an extension of God’s Family. The Bible refers to the church as “the household of God”. God calls Himself our “Father” and refers to believers as “the children of God”. God instructs us to treat each other as” brothers” and “sisters” and to view the leaders of the church as “elders”.
All these terms indicate that the church should function like a loving and caring family. Jesus said, “By this, all men will know that you are My disciples if you have a love for one another.” Members of the church should not treat each other as business associates, but as loving family members. We make every effort to express Christ’s love and acceptance to all who enter our doors. We would love to have you join our family as we grow in the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the Lord together.
